The Walls That You Make Home
This is a solo journaling game in which you document your time spent trapped inside an underground labyrinth.
You have been trapped here for some time. You cannot be entirely sure how long, as it is hard to keep track without a view into the outside world.
Alongside several other former residents, you once made the mistake of wandering inside. You are still not sure how you ever entered, as there are no doors in sight. Instead you found rooms, hallways, secret passages and sets of stairs as you made your way through this unknown underground system.
The walls haunted you then, as you and your companions desperately tried to escape. The walls haunt you still now, with you as the only one still left.
Food and water arrive boxed up whenever you need them, although you have never seen them arrive. There are traps within these walls, but they have yet to catch you. Your goal is to find a way out... and to convince these walls to finally let you go.
What do you remember about the life you left behind?
Who used to live within these walls alongside you?
What do the places you pass through mean to you?
Where do you plan to go if you ever do manage to escape?
The gameplay of The Walls That You Make Home is based on The Wretched, product of Chris Bissette and Loot The Room. The game is a companion piece to The Walls That Keep On Growing, but playing it before is not necessary.
