The Empty Tower
The Empty Tower is a dismal sight. Even the vines that cascade down its stone exterior are more grey than their once vibrant green. The very top has always been hidden by the clouds above. In fact, each individual floor is surrounded by fog.
The single window in each one has been rumoured to lead into a portal to another world. Travellers have been known to call them the Floating Lands, and the name has recently spread amongst the locals too.
If you begin your ascent to reach your goal, know that your only way out is through the door you came through.
You cannot climb out of the windows and into the worlds beyond, as they are too small.
You could perhaps try breaking the windows or the walls…
…but it would not be advised.
