This game takes place within and around the Kelpies’ Loch: a gleaming lake tucked away in a forest in Scotland, marred only by the continuous reports of kelpie sightings in the area.
An abundance of fae inhabit this place, including mischievous shellycoats, elusive asrai that disappear into the depths when the sun rises, dryads that peek out from the surrounding trees and, if the reports are accurate, an alarming amount of kelpies…
Many things could happen here, whether they are planned, improvised or entirely unexpected.
They could involve the infamous kelpies, other local fae nearby, or have nothing whatsoever to do with anything magical.
Players may not leave the area around the loch throughout the duration of the game.
They only have what is available in or around the loch. This could include various unusual and expected things: camping equipment, stolen items, rubbish that visiting humans have left behind…
…it would be wise, however, if you did not leave anything behind at the loch that could disturb the local wildlife. For everyone’s sake.
