Love this. I'm making a poetry building game too for the 'poetry inspired ttrpg jam' . This forces you to be creative every line.
my poem. Im still a noob so its not that good.
I used a d10. I choose 2 words to start my poem and the poem I was inspired by was Shuttle by Noah Warren---
dreaming wilderness
The wolf sings softly
birds howl
the trees run, the mountains run
There's a man who wants nothing and is well
Thank you so much! I love your poem. I just saw your game and have downloaded it to play soon, I'm looking forward to it!
Thanks! And thanks for checking out my game. I hope you have fun.
here are 3 poems i made when playtesting!!
---
The traveler
Encased in armor clad with ice
Says hate is a dangerous vice
And fair warning to
The mice, for one day
"Perish"
The gods will sigh
And all the grain they may desire
Would not suffice to even feed a fire.
A half-hearted laugh rings hello
In rhythm
With the starts aglow.
My hands clasp your waist
With the world's breath braced
Our song - our embrace.
Frozen I stroll
To the lake below,
Wind a-blow
From the woods and snow -
A deep caress...
But I know
This little mess.
